Construction Superintendent (Hotels / Medical / Healthcare) – Charleston, SC

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up hotel construction projects from pre-construction through final turnover. The ideal candidate is a disciplined field leader with proven success managing complex hospitality builds, maintaining strict safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

• Oversee daily field operations for ground-up hotel construction projects.
• Coordinate inspections and interface with city, county, and regulatory officials throughout all phases of construction.
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings to ensure compliance.
• Lead and mentor field teams, including Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify issues early, resolve field challenges, and maintain efficient project workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including job logs, daily reports, and project correspondence.
• Develop, manage, and execute detailed project schedules, sequencing, and logistics plans.
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Provide consistent project updates to Project Managers, including milestones, risks, coordination items, and schedule impacts.
• Ensure overall project success through disciplined oversight of safety, budget, quality, staffing, and timelines.

• Proven experience as a Superintendent managing remodel or ground-up construction; hotel or hospitality projects or health/medical projects strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
