Sanders Brothers Construction is currently seeking a Field Engineer to support their Charleston area construction operations.

• Coordinate with local municipalities for preconstruction meetings and other requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and estimators regarding budgets and production/schedule requirements.
• Plan and coordinate company grading requirements and priority, scheduling and managing subcontractors grading crews as necessary.
• Update stakeholders on schedule and changes in the scope of work.
• Establish crew production goals.
• Analyze grading job cost & production and update grading/utility manager and superintendents on bi-weekly basis.
• Perform the utility department's portion of the post construction to be incorporated with the end of project post construction.
• Assist with all aspects of the company safety program.
• Update reports daily using computer or tablet.

• Understanding of constructions including material takeoffs and estimating.
• Ability to utilize and learn construction/accounting/material/project related software products.
• Ability to track project status and communicate as required.
• BS Civil Engineer or Construction Management (preferred)
• 3 years of experience in construction industry.
