Sanders Brothers Construction Company is seeking a safe, reliable, and professional Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to support our Charleston-area operations. In this role, you will haul asphalt and aggregate materials to various local worksites, supporting road construction, site development, and asphalt production projects. Drive and operate a tri-axle dump truck to haul and deliver construction materials used in road building, site development, and asphalt production.

Maintain all required DOT driving qualifications
.

Work evenings and weekends as needed; weekly hours may exceed 40 while remaining within DOT limits.

Operate in varying weather and environmental conditions, including dusty, wet, loud, or extreme-temperature environments.

Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and safe; promptly report any safety concerns or mechanical issues.

Follow all SBCC policies, procedures, and safety requirements
.

Perform additional general duties as assigned.

Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record in accordance with SBCC policy.

DOT medical certification (must be maintained).

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug-free status throughout employment.

Must meet SBCC background check standards.

Ability to stand, crawl, and kneel for extended periods.

Ability to work in environments with dust, dirt, loud noise, and extreme temperatures.

Preferred:

3+ years of commercial vehicle operation in a construction environment.

Tank and/or Hazmat endorsements.

Experience driving tri-axle dump trucks.

High school diploma or GED.

Current 3-year MVR at time of application.
