Jennings Mechanical is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects
. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of work in the field.

The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader and works closely with Project Managers, Foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to Jennings Mechanical standards.

• Lead and supervise all on-site mechanical construction activities

• Manage mechanical foremen,apprentices, helpers, and subcontractors

• Plan daily work activities and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules

• Ensure work is performed per drawings, specifications, codes, and scope of work

• Enforce Jennings Mechanical, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements

• Coordinate work with general contractors, other trades, and inspectors

• Monitor labor productivity and communicate progress to Project Management

• Take off, get pricing and order materials such as not limited to snap locke, flex , etc.

• Assist with change orders, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout

• Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and field documentation

• 8+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial mechanical construction and 3+ years in a supervisory role

• Proven experience supervising mechanical field crews

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, sheet metal, plumbing, and mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Journeyman or Master license in HVAC, plumbing, or pipe fitting (as applicable)

• OSHA 30 certification

• Experience on large commercial or industrial projects

• Experience working in South Carolina or the Southeast

• Familiarity with BIM coordination and digital construction tools
