Assistant Project Manager; Custom Homes

Location: Charleston, SC / Low country

A leading custom home builder is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of high-end custom homes throughout the Charleston and Low country market.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycle
• Assist with schedules, budgets, procurement and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects and design teams
• Review plans, specifications and submittals
• Assist with RFIs, change orders and project correspondence
• Track project costs, materials and purchasing
• Attend project meetings and maintain client communication
• Work closely with Superintendents to keep projects on schedule
• Assist with quality control, inspections, punch lists and closeout

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of construction/project management experience
• Background in custom homes, luxury residential or high-end construction
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and building processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working with clients, architects and subcontractors
• Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred
