Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands including Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we have built a multi-channel ecommerce business spanning DTC websites and leading third-party marketplaces. We’re passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging shopping experience for our customers, bringing their home decor and furniture dreams to life with stunning, on-trend pieces.
We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team, reporting directly to the Graphic Design Manager. This role is ideal for a creative professional with sound marketing instincts. The ideal candidate has experience creating and executing marketing-campaign creative across digital channels, and possesses the ability to independently manage projects from concept through execution.
Position OverviewAs a Graphic Designer at Maxwood Furniture, you will lead the shaping and execution of visual marketing across multiple platforms for a large-scale furniture brand. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, and eCommerce stakeholders, while also taking ownership of day-to-day creative production and optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute a wide range of digital marketing assets across multiple platforms, channels, and customer touchpoints
- Develop digital ad and email marketing designs in alignment with campaign goals, brand standards, and a marketing calendar
- Acts as a creative owner for assigned campaigns, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely execution across all deliverables
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of marketing graphics for third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon A+ Content and Brand Stores)
- Create brand- and product-focused motion graphics and slideshow-style video animations to support campaigns and product launches
- Collaborate cross-functionally to interpret creative briefs, provide design solutions, and iterate based on feedback and performance insights
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements, templates, and design systems that increase efficiency and consistency
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in a graphic design role, ideally in an eCommerce brand setting
- Advanced working knowledge of industry-standard design tools, including:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva (with the ability to balance speed with brand consistency)
- Experience with basic video and motion design tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cap Cut, or similar platforms
- General working knowledge of Figma a plus.
- Demonstrated experience leading design for marketing campaigns from initial concept through final execution, including translating campaign goals into cohesive visual systems across channels
- Experience developing headlines and supporting content for digital ad and email campaigns based on a marketing calendar
- Experience with email marketing tools like Klaviyo and Mailchimp
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Shopify and Word Press
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and confidently address feedback or objections
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with minimal oversight
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to continuously refine skills and stay current with design and ecommerce trends
