• License & Certification:
  Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Licensed dental hygienist
• Current South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with Dentrix preferred, or ability to quickly learn new computer programs
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and well-organized
• Compassionate, ethical, and committed to providing excellent patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dental Hygienist License CPR Certification BLS Certification X-ray / Radiography Certification Local Anesthesia Certification Nitrous Oxide Certification Expanded Functions Dental Hygienist Advanced Dental Hygiene Practitioner Certification Infection Control License Driver's license

• Provide preventive and therapeutic periodontal care, including scaling, root planing, and patient education
• Conduct thorough assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings
• Take and process digital radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Dentrix (preferred) or similar dental software
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, infection control)
• Collaborate closely with the periodontist and dental team to ensure the highest level of care
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office culture
