As an Intern Architect at GBA Architecture, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from mixed-use developments and educational facilities to hospitality and commercial projects. You'll collaborate with a talented and diverse team of architects, designers to create innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the communities we serve.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intern Architect to join our team. In this role, you will participate on various projects through all phases of the projects design. Applicants should have 1-3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Revit, strong verbal and graphic communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and be self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include: production support and design development of project concepts into final construction documents including, drafting and coordination with project consultants (Engineers & Contractors). Production must be executed within designated project schedules and submittal deadlines. Other responsibilities include:
As-built documentation, general code research, jurisdictional code research, general office administration, assistance with meeting & presentations and distribution of drawings/plots.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
1-5 years of experience in architectural design.
Proficient in Revit with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
Self-motivated and able to work independently
