KCG’s Senior Healthcare Consultants partner with healthcare provider organizations—including academic medical centers, health systems, and physician enterprises—to solve a broad range of complex strategic, organizational, and operational problems. In this role, you will lead work streams, collaborate with executive stakeholders, and help translate analysis into actionable recommendations that drive measurable impact.
This position is ideal for professionals who can apply structured problem-solving and experience-based judgement to complex business challenges, combine strong analytical skills with sound judgment, executive presence, and a passion for improving healthcare performance. WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead discrete work streams on client engagements – from problem definition through recommendation & execution
- Develop structured analyses and translate findings into clear, executive-ready insights
- Support client decision-making through strong communication and stakeholder engagement with executives and senior-level clients
- Drive the design and implementation of practical, sustainable solutions
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping raise the quality of team output
- Contribute to internal initiatives such as knowledge development, recruiting, and/or proposal support
- 5+ years working for a top-tier management consultancy [healthcare experience strongly preferred] or 7+ years of increasing responsibility within health system operations
- 2+ years in engagement management or similar oversight role
- Takes ownership of work and consistently delivers high-quality results on time
- Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to manage and develop strategic client relationships while ensuring the highest quality client deliverables
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, and in-depth knowledge / defined involvement in helping frame, design, and execute solutions for challenging business situations
- A team-orientation and collaborative approach; outstanding listening skills and the ability to manage through influence
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence
- Collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring junior team members
- Willingness to travel to client engagements – estimated at 50%
- Work directly with leading healthcare organizations on high-impact initiatives
