UNIV OBGYN Specialist - Department of OBGYN; Temporary

Job Summary

Ob/Gyn Specialist MD – As an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist, your clinical responsibilities will primarily involve seeing outpatients and providing admission, discharge, and rounding on inpatients in both the obstetrics (including labor and delivery) and gynecology (including the operating room) services.

You will also provide consultative services in the Emergency Department, manage OB/GYN patients with other hospital services, and be available Monday–Friday. Weekend and night call may be required. You may be required to travel to other parts of South Carolina for service contracts.

• Ability to perform job functions in an upright, seated, or walking/moving position.
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes.
• Ability to work in confined or cramped spaces, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 15 lbs. unassisted.
• Good finger dexterity, vision (20/40 corrected), hearing acuity, and tactile sensory functions.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders; reach in all directions; perform gross and fine motor movements.
