As a Part-Time School Librarian at James Island Christian School, you will deliver engaging and effective instruction tailored to developmentally appropriate practices, enhancing students' literacy and critical thinking skills. To excel as a Part-Time School Librarian at James Island Christian School, a Bachelor’s degree or higher is essential, along with certification by the state of South Carolina or the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), or eligibility for such certification. Strong organizational skills are crucial for selecting and maintaining an appropriate library collection that aligns with curriculum standards and supports students' literacy and critical thinking.

Proficiency in library management software and educational technology tools will enhance your ability to deliver engaging instruction and develop effective lesson plans.
