The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is seeking a Business Analyst in the Office of Financial Aid. This role will manage data systems used by the financial aid office and assure quality control of financial aid systems.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare and generate reports and programs for the FISAP report.
- Handle Pell application for funds, outside and institutional surveys, and the Annual Report.
- Analyze report requests for staff and generate ad hoc reports using Argos, Microsoft Excel, and other Banner-related tools.
- Perform advanced financial aid reporting, analysis, and modeling to make recommendations on how financial aid funding can be leveraged to achieve enrollment goals.
- Manage Federal ROTC programs from the Army, Navy/Marine, and Air Force; work includes audits of tuition and fee charges as well as communication with both on and off campus departments.
- Perform need analysis, verification, packaging, aid, and other procedures necessary to deliver financial aid to students.
- Counsel students and parents regarding financial aid concerns and conduct outreach programs both on and off campus.
- Three years of direct financial aid experience.
- Direct experience with reporting tools, like Argos and Cognos.
- Proven record of strong analytical and problem‑solving skills through the use of technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and apply critical thinking skills to complex situations.
