Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Charleston, SC, offering both resource and self-contained classroom settings within a school environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support in resource and self-contained classroom settings.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages social and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working in resource and self-contained special education classrooms.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional techniques, and behavioral management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
