C.A.R.E. Academy is seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to support children during one of the most important stages of development. • Build positive, trusting relationships with toddlers and their families
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Supervise and monitor children to ensure safety at all times
• Support daily routines including hygiene, diapering, and potty learning
• Share daily updates and communication with families using Playground
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate lessons using Teaching Strategies
• Use positive reinforcement and guidance strategies
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental milestones
• Encourage healthy eating habits and positive mealtime routines
• Keep classroom materials clean, organized, and sanitized
• Maintain required training hours (DSS, ABC, CACFP, First Steps)
• Follow all center policies and state regulations
• Organize learning centers and classroom spaces
• Support the team with additional duties as needed

• Preparing weekly or monthly lesson plans for toddlers
• Planning daily physical activity and movement experiences
• Communicating clearly with parents about development and progress
• Participating in parent‑teacher conferences twice a year
• Completing ASQ assessments twice a year
• Demonstrating empathy, patience, and respect for diversity
• Using problem‑solving skills in daily classroom situations
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team

• Proven experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Willingness to complete ongoing training hours
• Consistent weekly schedule
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool‑tempered, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
• Certification in child CPR
• Associate’s Degree or desire to obtain one
