Economics Adjunct Instructor

Job Responsibilities

The faculty member reports directly to the Department Head. The primary responsibilities are to teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instructions, design and develop curriculum, advise and recruit students, participate in activities, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Master’s degree in economics or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in economics courses.

• Work and teaching experience in economics.
• Proficiency in a learning management system such as D2L.
• Previous experience in teaching, teamwork, leadership, goal setting, workplace communication, and online instruction or web experience.
• Ability to teach varying schedules at various locations, utilizing technology in instruction and using various teaching methods.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
