Welding Adjunct Instructors

Job Responsibilities

Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC is seeking Welding Instructors for its Thornley Campus. Instructors will teach day and evening programs, covering entry‑level through advanced classes in Gas Metal Arc Welding (Pulse), oxy‑acetylene cutting, blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing and codes. Day programs run 7:00 am‑3:30 pm; evening programs run Monday‑Friday 2:30 pm‑11:00 pm.

• Training/teaching experience in welding
• Recent welding experience
• Certification tests passed in each welding process taught
• Hourly rate $30‑$40 per hour

Teaching/training experience and an associate degree in a related area.
