In a Teacher, we look for committed individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently running all their classrooms. To succeed in this position you will need:

• High school diploma or Associates Degree
• At least six months experience working in DSS certified childcare facility
• CPR/first aid certificate or be able to obtain this
• Be familiar with Creative Curriculum or willing to learn how to use
• A positive, friendly attitude for parents and children
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards
• Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized
• Coursework in early childhood education or child development is a plus
• At least three references
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Be organized and have the ability to plan lessons that are educational, hands on and interesting
• Provide a learning environment that is safe, comfortable and healthy, in order to enhance children's growth and development
• Be flexible and proactive
• Be able to work the part time hours 6:30 am-12:00 pm or 7:00 am-12:00 pm with occasional overtime
• Only those serious about the care and well being of children need apply
• ECD 101 preferable
• Childhood experience in a DSS licensed facility
