Position: Travel School Speech and Language Pathologist |

A full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025‑2026 school year, providing essential support to elementary students in Charleston, SC. This role involves travel between two school sites, covering medical and maternity leaves, offering a unique opportunity to work in diverse educational settings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech‑language pathology services to general education, resource students, and those in Low Incidence (LI) and Low Incidence/Auditory (LI/AU) programs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Transition smoothly between Dunston Elementary (until May) and an elementary school in West Ashley for maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Active South Carolina state licensure in Speech‑Language Pathology (no pending licenses accepted).
  • Active South Carolina Educator Certification.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with school‑age children, including those in specialized programs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Location & Schedule
  • Based in Charleston, SC, with travel required between two elementary schools.
  • Full‑time, Monday through Friday.
