Visual Arts Adjunct Instructors

Job Responsibilities

TTC, located in Charleston, SC, is a public, two-year, multi-campus institution that provides quality education and promotes economic development in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties. The Department of Visual Arts is seeking to fill on-campus instructor positions for Fall 2026. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching day and evening classes, utilizing technology, using various teaching methods in instruction, and maintaining accurate attendance and grading records.

To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a bachelor's or associate degree in multimedia, media arts, graphic design or a related field. These positions will teach on-site instruction.

Work experience in the areas of graphic design, web design and/or multimedia and the ability to work with Adobe Master Suite on both PC and Macintosh platforms is critical. College level teaching experience in the field of visual arts is preferred. These positions will teach in the areas of 2D Design, Color Theory, Graphic Design, and Web Design. Teamwork, leadership, goal setting, workplace/personal communication and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Candidates must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
