Adjunct Instructor of Exercise Science
The Department of Applied Exercise Science at the College of Charleston invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Exercise Science as an open application pool as needed by department. The successful candidate will teach courses relevant to their professional experience. Courses include, by are not limited to, Cardiovascular Assessment and Prescription, Neuromuscular Assessment and Prescription, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology and Lab, and Physical Activity Considerations for Diverse Populations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Exercise Science or a closely related field
- Demonstrated teaching experience
- Certifications by governing bodies (ACSM/NSCA) in field of experience
- Strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. in Exercise Science or a closely related field
- Prior teaching experience at the college level
