Adjunt Lecturer of Spanish (or Portuguese) to teach in-person introductory-level language courses (e.g., SPAN
101 through SPAN
202) on our historic downtown Charleston campus. This is a part-time, non-tenure track faculty position for the Fall semester, with the possibility of renewal based on departmental needs and performance. We are seeking dynamic and student-focused educators committed to fostering basic Spanish or Portuguese language acquisition and cultural competence through communicative and inclusive teaching practices.

Specialty and subspecialty, if any, sought
- Master's degree in Spanish, Portuguese, Hispanic Studies, Luso-Brazilian Studies, Spanish Linguistics, or a closely related field. At least 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish or Portuguese. Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese and English. Teaching experience at the postsecondary level, particularly in beginning Spanish or Portuguese language courses.
