Overview
Fayette County Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our school system. The successful candidate will join a professional organization dedicated to student success.
Responsibilities- Perform duties customary to a junior high school teacher in a self-contained special education (sped) setting.
- Prepare lessons toward mastery of the state standards.
- Collaborate with other faculty.
- Provide small group instruction and differentiate instruction with interventions as needed.
- Work with administrators and coaches to improve performance; monitor students; communicate with parents and other stakeholders.
- Develop and administer assessments.
- Instruct students in accordance with their IEPs and hold IEP meetings.
- Active TN teaching license with appropriate endorsements for Junior High School Self-Contained classroom.
