Instructional Assistant/Student Shadow for Special Education at Honea Path Elementary School
Reports to the Principal
Responsibilities:
- Assist the special education studentin a self-contained classroom in the following areas:
- Reinforcing skills taught by the classroom teacher.
- Taking data on behavioral, communication, socialization, and motivational objectives.
- Interveneto manage behavior problems when necessary.
- Carry our written behavior intervention plans.
- Accompany studentto various locations on school grounds.
Qualifications:
- Two Year Associates Degree
- 60 Hours of Coursework
- Para Pro Assessment Test
- Terms of Employment: 185 Days
- Full time position with SC State Benefits
