Certified Welding Inspector; CWI

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) based from our Charleston SC location with Projects extending to Savannah, GA
. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

• Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
• Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
• Input results and observations into daily reports

• Current AWS CWI with Structural or Bridge Experience
• NDT Level II UT Shearwave and Magnetic Particle Testing is preferred
