Job Overview

Ankura’s Construction Disputes & Advisory Practice delivers expert services and strategic advisory solutions to resolve complex construction disputes and optimize capital project performance across large infrastructure, real‑estate, healthcare, energy, and financial services projects.

Role Overview

As a Director in the Construction Disputes & Advisory group, you will develop strong analytical skills while being immersed in client services. Directors work directly with project team leaders and experts, performing detailed analyses required to provide optimal solutions. You will assist with data gathering, document reviews, and database creation/management, and work closely with clients to address planning, construction, and dispute resolution challenges for major projects worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with data gathering, including detailed document reviews and database creation/management.
  • Perform detailed analyses of project schedule delays, project cost records, productivity, change orders, and related design and construction issues.
  • Utilize various computer software to analyze and model schedules, contractor production rates, and costs.
  • Create high‑quality work products and demonstrate exceptional quality control.
  • Prepare client‑ready work products for senior‑level review.
  • Support company and business‑group development efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management with solid academic performance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • People‑management experience is highly preferred.
  • Highly motivated, driven, and energetic attitude toward work and career.
  • Strong team‑oriented personality characteristics: hard‑working, thoughtful, collaborative, with a positive outlook and confidence.
  • Creative/analytical problem‑solving ability and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to utilize technology to solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to handling multiple/evolving tasks from new engagements and/or re‑prioritized deadlines.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality or final work product under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to excel within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Primavera scheduling tools and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques is desirable but not required.
Compensation Range

Ankura is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed base pay range is $85,000‑$200,000. This estimate reflects market and role factors but does not guarantee a specific wage. The range does not include additional benefits.
