PositionSystems Engineer 2 – Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Unit. Join the SES Strategic Business Unit responsible for designing, engineering, integrating, operating and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers.
Responsibilities- Consult with clients to identify needs and match solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations.
- Develop customized solutions and tailored product offerings.
- Craft detailed proposals with solution, pricing, and implementation plan.
- Maintain client relationships, provide post‑sale support, and address technical concerns.
- Develop and execute market surveys, lab evaluations, proof of concepts, and pilots.
- Assist with system requirements development and allocation of hardware, software, facilities, personnel.
- Participate in interface definition, design, and change management.
- Generate alternative system concepts, architectures, and design solutions.
- Establish and gain approval for requirements, designs, interfaces, and test procedures.
- Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verification and validation.
- Develop system design solutions that satisfy requirements and functional analysis.
- Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfaces, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
- Develop scenarios and operational concepts describing system interactions.
- Review and approve system engineering documentation.
- Conduct quantitative analysis in non‑functional performance areas.
- Coordinate system integration activities among multiple teams.
- Prepare time‑line analysis diagrams.
- Formally control and manage changes to requirements, ensuring traceability and stakeholder buy‑in.
- Assess program risks, determine probability and quantified consequence of failure.
Ability to travel up to 10%
Education / Experience
- Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline or Information Technology degree.
- Master’s Degree and 0+ years of experience preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience required.
- Access Control Systems: CCURE 9000, Lenel OnGuard.

Senstar, Southwest Microwave. - Other Electronic Security Systems:
Zenitel, Gatekeeper, HID, Certi Path, D3. - Hypervisors: ever
Run, VMware ESXi, vSphere. - Microsoft Windows Server 2016‑2025 deployment and administration.
- Microsoft Windows 11 deployment and administration.
- Windows Server features: DNS, DFS, DHCP, KMS.
- Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Data center networking fundamentals; software‑defined networks a plus.
- Hyperconverged storage fundamentals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain secure & reliable solutions meeting cyber‑security and information assurance requirements.
- Perform security scans, system updates, apply security configurations (DISA STIG/SRGs).
- Data Center Automation and IaaS, API management, scripting (Power Shell, Python, JSON, Bash).
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills communicating with executive leadership.
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Time management and organization for deadlines and quality objectives.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio a plus.
