Job Description
Junior Estimator /Assistant Project Manager (HVAC) needed for Commercial Mechanical Contractor to assist HVAC Department Manager with:
- Minimum 3-Years experience in the HVAC industry
- Good understanding of HVAC systems
- Ability to perform takeoffs for estimating purposes
- Review and critique of HVAC submittals for submission and approval
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment/material deliveries
- Coordinate with field supervisors-quality control, troubleshoot material/equipment issues
- Manager subcontractors through duration of project(s)
- Review closeout requirements for project commissioning/closeout
- Assist with HVAC piping field installation information/processes
- Update schedules
- Order & amp; track material
Must possess good communication skills, computer skills and be able to read and understand complex commercial plans (blueprints) and specifications, AutoCAD experience a plus. Stable and verifiable work history.
