Structural Section Head | Civil Site Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Civil Engineer to lead and expand our civil site practice in the Charleston, SC office. This leadership role demands a dynamic professional with a strong track record in business development, staff management, and project delivery

The ideal candidate will shape the strategic direction of the site civil group
, cultivate client relationships, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure the financial success of the practice.

• Managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing site development design and permitting
  .
• Mentoring junior staff
  , ensuring professional growth and technical excellence.
• Upholding high standards of quality and client satisfaction
  .
• Leveraging local market knowledge to expand our presence in the Low country region
  .

• Develop and execute strategic growth plans in collaboration with office managers and practice leaders.
• Expand market presence through marketing and business development initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead and contribute to the development of proposals.
• Provide technical expertise to project managers and engineering teams.
• Assess resource and staffing needs for the department.
• Conduct interviews and hire staff as required.
• Perform performance reviews, incorporating feedback from project managers.
• Guide and manage team members through effective leadership,
  goal setting, coaching, and continuous performance management
  .

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in site civil engineering
  .
• Expertise in project management and business development
  .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  .
