Design Engineer

Insight Global is seeking Design Engineers to support one of the world's leading aerospace manufacturers in North Charleston, SC. We are hiring at both Level 3 and Level 4 and are looking for engineers with experience in aircraft structural design, interiors, payload systems, and aerospace product development.

This is an opportunity to work on highly visible commercial aircraft programs, supporting the design, certification, testing, and production of aircraft interior and structural systems from concept through implementation.

• Design and develop aircraft interior, payload, and structural components and systems
• Create and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
• Develop and manage system requirements while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and program requirements
• Perform structural analysis and support validation activities using engineering tools and simulation methods
• Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and support certification efforts
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering quality, tools, processes, and efficiency

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other STEM discipline
• 3+ years of aerospace engineering experience
• 3+ years of 3D modeling and design experience
• Experience working with aerospace design criteria and engineering release processes
• 5+ years of aerospace engineering experience
• 5+ years of 3D modeling and design experience
• Strong understanding of aerospace design criteria, system integration, and engineering release processes
