Responsibilities
- Provide Executive Leadership for Gas Turbine Product Service Engineering
- Lead Fleet Design Engineering responsibilities for key gas turbine frames
- Own the end-to-end customer experience and technical resolution model across 20,000 Engineering Request (ER) cases and 150 Root Cause Analyses (RCA)
- Lead the stabilization of HA Gas Turbine Technology through disciplined root cause analysis
- Drive measurable improvement in HA GT Train Availability
- Lead the development of Users Conference content for gas turbine technologies
- Serve as a senior technical interface with customer insurers
- Influence the development of next-generation gas turbine technology
- Set strategic priorities, technical direction, and operating mechanisms for the organization
- Lead a large, multi-disciplinary organization of engineering and technical professionals
- Drive transformation in how engineering support is delivered
- Influence service strategy for the Gas Turbine fleet
- Partner with various departments to align technical solutions with business priorities
- Lead development and implementation of engineering solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field from an accredited university
- 15+ years of progressive experience in gas turbine product engineering, fleet support engineering, service engineering, or design engineering within a complex industrial environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as business needs require
