This position involves performing commissioning work in accordance with customer expectations and contractual agreements. The incumbent will provide process support for installations, offer feedback to operations and engineering, and contribute to continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
Responsibilities- Perform commissioning as per customer expectations and contracts in place, providing process support for installations and feedback to operations/engineering for equipment modifications.
- Write reports and recommend solutions based on site visit observations and theoretical background.
- Perform evaluations of potential inefficiencies in processes and suggest improvements.
- Provide training and education to customers on theory and equipment.
- Coordinate logistics for presenters and attendees at seminars and prepare customized training materials.
- Assist in developing focused training sessions using current templates and food safety specific seminars.
- Manage tools and equipment needed for on‑site evaluations; investigate new tools/machinery to improve departmental performance.
- Interact with product management and R&D to update on customer needs and technical request satisfaction.
- Interact with operations to provide equipment improvement updates.
- Develop process-related articles for publication in trade magazines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science/Process Technology, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in a technical role.
- Proven problem‑solving ability.
- Fluent command of technical English (oral and written).
- Strong communication skills with customers; serving as the company’s face during the commissioning phase.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 50 % of the time.
- Ability to manage stress and meet challenging customer and internal expectations.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- CAD experience or ability to read and understand technical drawings preferred.
- Hands‑on mechanical, electrical, or automation experience preferred.
