Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Aircraft mechanic to begin a career in the aerospace industry. This role is a unique opportunity to receive comprehensive training and gain hands-on experience at a major aerospace facility. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learning the fundamentals of aircraft systems and maintenance in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform flight test installations and assemblies under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Assist with aircraft functional testing to ensure all systems meet performance and safety standards.
• Learn to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Participate in pre-flight and post-flight checks, helping to prepare aircraft for operational testing.
• Support maintenance and modification actions, gaining valuable skills in resolving technical issues on deliverable products.

Skills & Experience:

This is an entry-level position where we prioritize a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude over direct aviation experience. We will provide the specific training you need to succeed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems, such as automotive, industrial, or general mechanics.
• A strong passion for aviation and a desire to build a career in the aerospace industry.
• The ability to learn and interpret technical documents, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• A basic understanding of tools and mechanical processes.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• The flexibility to work across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Compensation:

$23.13/hr
