Senior Resident Engineer – CEI

Lead CEI delivery for roadway, bridge, and transit construction projects across South Carolina’s Low country, supporting SCDOT and regional public-sector agencies and working closely with contractors and inspection teams to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality project execution from mobilisation through completion.

• Lead and oversee construction management and inspection services for roadway, bridge, transit, drainage, utilities, erosion control, and maintenance of traffic projects.
• Supervise field inspection staff, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain project progress and resolve construction issues.
• Support business development efforts, including client engagement, RFQs/RFPs, and proposal development.
• Plan and direct large, complex construction projects or multiple concurrent CEI assignments.

• Compensation: $190,000 - $230,000

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed PE.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Valid Drivers License.
