- Pay Rate:1st Shift: $58/hr & 2nd Shift: $60/hr

- Contract Specifics: Although the contract is initially written for 5 months, this is primarily a fiscal and legal budgeting requirement. The aerospace company has already awarded a $13M engagement for this MRB program, with funding plans extending through 2029. The team is hiring for a long-term initiative and renews contracts as funding moves through each fiscal year. In practice, this is being viewed as a multi-year opportunity, supported by a purchased services agreement and dedicated program funding, which typically provides greater stability than traditional headcount positions.
Insight Global is seeking an Aerospace Mechanical Engineer (MRB)- Foundation Track/Support Engineer (L2-L3) to support a leading aerospace manufacturing client. This role is responsible for reviewing engineering data, preparing Material Review Board (MRB) packages, and supporting the non-conformance disposition process. This position serves as a key support function to MRB Authority Holders by ensuring accurate, complete, and decision-ready documentation for non-conformance resolution.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5 years of engineering or manufacturing support experience
- U.S. Person eligible to complete training
- Previous Aerospace experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with engineering drawings, models, and metadata
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to support one weekend per month
