• ~$300mm AUM today and growing
• Invest in US and Canadian small cap public equities ($500-$5b market cap)
• Concentrated portfolio of 8-12 Longs and 5-10 Shorts
• 10-year track record of compelling returns
• Based in Charleston, SC
• Transparent and attractive compensation tied to AUM and returns
• Live in Charleston, SC
• At least 3.4 GPA from reputable university
• At least 3 years of finance experience
• At least 1 year of private equity experience (can’t be real estate private equity)
• Strong desire to be a public equity investor
• Hardworking
• Intellectually curious about industries, companies, markets, and investing
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communicator
• Seek entrepreneurial culture and small team
• Self-starter who can operate autonomously
• Extremely organized
• Proficient w/Microsoft Office (especially building financial models in Excel)

• Follow our detailed Research Process to evaluate small cap stocks (which includes below)
• Read and analyze public documents
• Lead diligence calls with public company management teams
• Lead diligence calls w/private competitors, customers, and suppliers
• Lead diligence calls w/former employees and executives’ former colleagues
• Utilize LLM and AI-powered market intelligence platforms to research
• Build financial models and valuation analysis
• Identify and build trading and transaction comps
• Complete our deliverables, such as Initial Screen, Checklist, Tearsheet, and Earnings Reviews
• Monitor, evaluate, and update Portfolio Manager for real-time news on your investments
