The NIWC Atlantic Non‑traditional Sensors, Effects, Communications, & Technology (NSECT) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Finance Manager and Operations Coordinator provides critical support to IPT leadership, the finance organization, and individual team leads. This Gov Solutions Group role ensures effective financial management, coordinated operational activities, and streamlined communication across the IPT to enable mission success.
This is an onsite position located in North Charleston, SC.
Position Duties- Updating financial dashboards on a weekly basis
- Providing support to IPT BFMs
- Coordinating with the BFM team for all funds acceptance, both reimbursable and direct cite. This includes creating the project structure and NWAs in N-ERP for new funds received, populating and routing the FDA's for IPT and 1.0 review and signature
- Creating project cost estimates, communicating scheduled funding request plans with sponsors, completing funds acceptance with the IPT BFM, and creating and maintaining spend plans for the IPT alongside team leadership. Ensure all funding received has an associated spend plan created using the latest spend plan template. Work with the leads to ensure regular updates are captured for forecasted costs. This includes ensuring the spend plan data is aggregating and ingested into the PowerBI data model for cross project views of labor allocation and planned vs actual expenditure rates.
- Supporting command data calls with information on obligation authority, projected monthly expenditures, and carryover projections
- Supporting service PR actions by provided NWA and funding document information needed to award contract modifications
- Other duties as assigned
- Clearance Requirement:
Secret clearance - Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Apps, especially Excel, Planner, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Project Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate in both written and verbal format to stakeholders
- Ensures problems are communicated from teams up to leadership, and vice versa.
- Knowledge of project orders, outdocs, G-invoicing, and GT&Cs.
- Understanding of the 51/49 rule as it applies to NIWC reimbursable funds and project orders.
- Knowledgeable of N-ERP systems
- Familiar with DoD appropriations
Salary: $78,000 - $83,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
