  • Own and maintain asset-level financial models, forecasts, valuations, and investment return analyses.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, underwriting assumptions, and property-level business plans.
  • Partner with property management teams to evaluate performance, identify areas of underperformance, and drive execution of asset-level initiatives.
  • Support annual budgeting and business planning across the portfolio.
  • Analyze market fundamentals, competitive properties, rents, supply pipelines, and other trends impacting asset performance.
  • Evaluate capital projects, refinancing opportunities, hold/sell decisions, and other strategic asset-level initiatives.
  • Prepare portfolio reporting, asset management presentations, investment committee materials, and investor-facing analysis.
  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and due diligence as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve portfolio performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, acquisitions, real estate private equity, investment banking, or a related analytical real estate role. Direct multifamily experience strongly preferred.
  • Asset Management: Experience evaluating property-level operating performance, budgets, forecasts, business plans, and investment returns.
  • Modeling

    Skills:

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience building and maintaining real estate cash flow models, valuations, and return analyses.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong ability to identify key performance drivers, diagnose variances, and translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication: Comfortable working directly with property management teams, senior leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel: Ability to travel less than 25% of the time to visit properties and markets.
  • Cultural Fit: Team-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working within a close-knit, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Mindset: Curious, hungry, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to take ownership, anticipate issues, and operate independently without requiring step-by-step direction.
