Why work for Greystar? Step into a role at the centre of Greystar's APAC growth, and help shape how we plan, forecast and report our growing APAC region. Greystar is a global leader in real estate investment, development and property management, rapidly expanding across the Australian market. As part of our APAC finance team, you'll work alongside finance and operations colleagues across the region, backed by a business that operates at global scale but moves with real agility.
We offer flexible hybrid work options, wellness programs and gym classes, birthday leave, and tailored learning pathways to support your ongoing growth.
Opportunity Overview:
As Greystar's APAC platform grows, so does the need for sharp, commercially minded people to help run it. Based in Sydney, you'll own FP&A end-to-end across Singapore, South Korea, Australia and Japan, spanning our PBSA and BTR assets. You’ll partner closely across the business and with heads of department, sharpening reporting, forecasting and process, and building smarter, more automated ways of working as we scale.
A genuinely broad role with real ownership over how we plan, forecast and improve.
- Lead FP&A across Singapore, South Korea, Australia and Japan, covering all asset classes
- Design and embed best-practice FP&A processes, tools and controls across the region
- Identify and deliver automation opportunities to streamline reporting and forecasting
- Partner with heads of department and business unit leaders across APAC on budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
- Prepare clear, accurate reporting and insights that support timely decision‑making
- Support month-end, quarter-end and annual planning cycles across multiple markets
- Act as a trusted finance partner, translating complex data into practical business insight
You're a FP&A professional with the confidence to own your numbers end-to-end across multiple markets. You're energised by improving how things work, comfortable operating across time zones and asset types, and you bring the initiative to keep things moving in a growing, fast‑paced platform. In addition, you bring:
- Demonstrated FP&A experience, ideally within real estate or investment management
- CA or CPA qualifications or working towards it is highly regarded
- Experience working within ASX‑listed, global or multinational organisations
- A track record of driving process improvement and automation
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders across regions
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets
- Ability to work autonomously as a senior individual contributor
- Power BI and Anaplan experience highly regarded but not essential
