A direct hire opportunity is available for a Deposit Specialist in Summerville, SC. This role is ideal for a banking operations professional with hands-on wire processing experience, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
The Deposit Specialist will support key deposit operations functions, including wire transfers, transaction review, debit card servicing, online banking support, and fraud prevention activity. Key Responsibilities- Process and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfers accurately and in compliance with internal procedures.
- Review checks, deposits, and banking transactions for accuracy, completeness, and potential fraud concerns.
- Support debit card servicing, online banking inquiries, and other deposit operations requests.
- Review operational reports to identify discrepancies, exceptions, or suspicious activity.
- Provide responsive customer and internal support by phone and email.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established banking policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Compensation is around $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
