Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mobile MRI Technologist with at least one year of experience and current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification for weekend and evening shifts.

• Mobile MRI Tech position working Fridays until 5pm, then at the main hospital from 5pm to end of shift
• Main hospital coverage required Saturday and Sunday for MRI scans
• Work schedule is 3x12 hour shifts, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on scheduled shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient population in a Magnet, Level 1 Trauma, and teaching hospital setting
• Epic EMR is used; previous Siemens experience preferred
• Must adhere to department policies and ensure patient safety during MRI procedures
• Teal top and black bottom scrub attire required
• All modules must be completed before start date
• RTO must be requested at time of application and is subject to approval
• Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous perm staff or PRN employees must be separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
• Night and weekend parking requires a one-time payment for a parking pass

• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• SSN and Driver’s License required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• First-time travelers considered
