Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities Outpatient clinic setting in an MRI department Day shift schedule of 5x8-hour shifts (11:30 AM–8:00 PM), Monday–Friday on non-Saturday weeks; on rotating Saturday weeks, schedule consists of 4 weekday shifts (11:30 AM–8:00 PM) plus one Saturday shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM), totaling 40 hours per week No on-call requirement No holiday coverage required May float between West Ashley and Mt. Pleasant facilities as needed Charting performed in Epic 13-week contract First-time travelers are accepted for this position Candidates who have previously worked at any MUSC location as permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the MUSC system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local;

non-local candidates are prioritized, and local candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis All requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration; approval is subject to the manager's and unit's needs Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams;

peak hurricane activity occurs in August and September Teal top and black pants are the required scrub colors

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required Current BLS (AHA) required ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required State license required if applicable SSN and Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Radiation badge required — must be provided by the traveler's agency, as the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
