About the Position

Job Description:

Join a top-tier Level I Trauma, Magnet, and Teaching Hospital in Charleston, SC, as a PICU RN. This 28-bed Pediatric ICU provides intensive and intermediate care to children aged 0–18 with varied medical and surgical needs. You will work rotating 3x12-hour shifts (day and night), scheduled in 2–4 week blocks. The unit handles complex cases including trauma, post-ops, respiratory failure, ECMO, CRRT, and neurological support.

Staffing includes a full care team of nurses, techs, respiratory therapists, and pediatric specialists. Must be flexible with weekends and floating within scope.

Requirements
Requirements:

2 years of PICU RN experience required

Accepts first-time travelers

SC or Compact RN license

BLS & PALS (AHA only)

Preferred: ECMO and CRRT experience

Shift: Rotating Days/Nights (3x12s)

Weekend: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule

Charting: EPIC

Must submit all RTO at time of submission

Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Locals within 60 miles accepted with reduced rate (case-by-case)
