CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

• Primarily work at outpatient imaging center (Rutledge Tower) with required floating to main hospital

• Daily caseload of approximately 60 exams with varying case types per shift and location

• Float within scope to sister facilities as needed

• On-call not required

• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• Minimum 1 year experience preferable or 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT)

Required experience:

PIV, Siemens equipment, and Level 1 Trauma

• Must provide own radiation badge (agency supplied)

• Handle mostly cardiac exams (75% cardiac) plus routine studies, stroke patients, and interventional radiology procedures

• Work with Siemens Force, Alpha and X.CITE equipment

• 40-hour orientation period

• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start

• Wear teal scrub top and black bottom

• Use Epic charting system

• Treat adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Perform specialized procedures including biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies
