Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a main hospital MRI department within a teaching and Magnet-recognized Level 1 Trauma center
- Care for inpatient, ER, and outpatient populations with caseloads that vary
- Night shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Floating to other buildings on campus within scope as needed
- Epic is used for charting and documentation
- Siemens experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All employees, including travelers, may be assigned to emergency storm teams
- Mandatory completion of facility modules prior to start
- Previous staff must be separated from the hospital system for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- A 60-mile radius rule applies; locals considered case-by-case at a lower rate
- Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
- Parking pass costs $20 for nights and weekends
- All requested time off must be submitted up front and is subject to approval
- Travelers may only be assigned to one facility or unit at a time
- Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
- Active BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Experience with Siemens MRI systems required
- Experience in a teaching hospital preferred
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
