Job Description Summary
The Quality/Safety Director for Chronic Care Services reports to the System QAPI Director and works collaboratively with the Leadership of Chronic Care-focused ICCE er limited supervision, the Director provides full support to the QAPI/safety program system-wide. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and assessing quality data; disseminating data to stakeholders; benchmarking performance; leading multidisciplinary teams to improve performance; presenting performance data to oversight and governance groups;
overseeing all QAPI and regulatory/accreditation activities; monitoring patient safety events with operational and clinical leaders; facilitating event reviews with Risk Management; and managing a team of Quality and Safety Officers, managers, coordinators, data analysts, and registry staff.

Work Shift Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited graduate program with a healthcare-related master’s degree (or accredited clinical program such as RN, MD, Pharm
D) required. - At least 5-10 years of experience in a quality/safety program within a healthcare organization.
- Leadership/management experience required.
- Certification as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or Patient Safety preferred;
Just Culture certification preferred. - Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and certification in Six Sigma preferred.
- Computer/internet skills and familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) essential.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
- Experience with in the Chronic Care field strongly preferred.
