Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Charleston, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day – 4x10 Hour (11:30 AM – 10:00 PM), Monday–Thursday

• Perform MRI imaging procedures for inpatient, emergency room, and outpatient populations.
• Operate MRI equipment (Siemens systems) to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Screen patients for MRI safety including implants, contraindications, and metal screening.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to any clinical needs or adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support diagnostic imaging and patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.
• Follow MRI safety standards, facility imaging protocols, and infection control practices.
• Work in a high-acuity hospital environment including ER and inpatient settings.
• Float to other buildings on campus as needed to support imaging services.
• Maintain productivity and manage varying daily caseloads depending on patient volume.

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ARRT (MR) certification required or ARMRIT certification accepted.
• Experience operating Siemens MRI equipment required.
• Ability to perform MRI scans for inpatient, ER, and outpatient cases.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma environment.
• Ability to float to other buildings on campus if needed.

• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
