POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a refined, proactive, and deeply local Luxury Concierge & Guest Experience Ambassador to serve as the face of CVP for our Charleston portfolio. Similar to a Personal Concierge at a five‑star hotel, you are the single point of contact for our guests, owning the experience from "pre‑arrival to fond farewell."

You will work in tandem with our remote Guest Services team to bridge the gap between digital support and physical luxury. You aren't just answering questions; you are anticipating unexpressed needs, ideating tailored itineraries, and building a "brand bond" that ensures every guest feels like a VIP.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Ambassador Role:
    Act as the primary local representative for CVP, providing a warm "Southern Welcome" and serving as the face of the property for high‑net‑worth guests.
  • Anticipatory Service:
    Utilize pre‑arrival knowledge to customize guest stays, arranging everything from stocked kitchens and bespoke floral arrangements to excursions and sought‑after dining reservations.
  • Seamless Coordination:
    Liaise between our remote Guest Services VAs and our on‑site maintenance/housekeeping teams to ensure properties are "show‑ready" and tailored to specific guest preferences.
  • Local Expertise:
    Maintain deep, professional relationships with Charleston’s top‑tier partners, including historic sites, private chefs, and exclusive event organizers.
  • Service Recovery:
    Own guest issues with discretion and professionalism. You are empowered to execute immediate "service recovery" to maintain our 5‑star portfolio standards.
  • Guest Communication:
    Maintain proactive communication via face‑to‑face interaction, phone, and text, ensuring guests feel supported but never intruded upon.
REQUIRED STRENGTHS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
  • Luxury Background: 2–4 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment (Concierge or Front Office) or high‑end property management.
  • Charleston Native Intelligence:
    Expert‑level knowledge of the Charleston area, including the best "hidden gems," seasonal events, and culinary trends.
  • Communication Mastery:
    Fluent, professional verbal and written English with the ability to navigate complex social situations with diplomacy.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    Exceptional multi‑tasking skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Tech‑Savvy:
    Proficiency with Property Management Systems Guesty, Slack, Airbnb and luxury concierge platforms.
  • Professionalism:
    Immaculate grooming, etiquette, and a consistently upbeat, enthusiastic disposition.
  • Concierge:
    Assist with special occasions such as anniversaries, proposals, and VIP celebrations—ensuring every detail exceeds expectations.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless and luxurious guest experience.
  • Stay informed about seasonal events, culinary trends, and developments in Charleston’s hospitality scene.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & SCHEDULE
  • Must be able to move throughout the Charleston area to meet guests and inspect properties.
  • Availability:
    Must be available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to coincide with peak guest arrival and event times.
