Location: Charleston, SC 29407
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Expected Shift: 40 hrs/week
Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts with some flexibility between 7:30-5:30 TBD
** There is the potential for this to turn into a permanent hire if the candidate performance and position align.**
JOB SUMMARYThe Talent Acquisition Consultant II is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified candidates for assigned positions using a combination of active and passive sourcing strategies. This role actively sources and engages talent through job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels. The Talent Acquisition Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for all recruitment-related needs with their assigned departments, building strong partnerships with operational leaders.
This includes providing guidance on effective sourcing strategies, advising on best practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Consultant collaborates with hiring leaders to identify recruitment barriers, uncover opportunities for improvement, and deliver strategic, data-informed solutions to enhance hiring outcomes and attract top talent.
** This position recruits for several hard-to-fill areas such as Case Management, Dialysis, Wound Care, Nursing Supervisors, Transplant, Surgical Specialty & Spine, MSK, Nursing Administration, Nursing Excellence, Magnet and Clinical Education Team. Related experience is beneficial.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least one (1) year of full-cycle recruitment experience, including working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Work Day preferred)
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university AND two years of college recruitment, marketing, project management, sales and/or agency staffing work
- OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND at least 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification may replace one year of related work experience.
- PHR or SHRM certifications strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to create and implement recruiting strategies to attract highly qualified candidates.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment with competing priorities.
