Human Resources Coordinator

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

The Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR operations with a focus on new-hire onboarding, pre-employment requirements, and front-desk reception. This role ensures a smooth, compliant, and professional experience for employees, candidates, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling, documentation, and HRIS entry.
  • Manage pre-employment drug tests, medical screenings, background checks, and employment eligibility forms.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and onboarding files.
  • Serve as front desk receptionist: greet visitors, manage calls, handle mail, and support office procedures.
  • Process employment verifications and initial unemployment claim responses.
  • Support HR staff with administrative tasks across recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with contract start-ups, audits, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
  • 0-1 years of HR, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and follow compliance requirements.
  • SHRM-CP required or ability to obtain after hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
Additional Details
  • Full-time role based in Daniel Island, SC corporate office.
  • Core hours generally 7:00 a.m.

    -4:00 p.m. EST; occasional evenings/weekends during peak onboarding periods.
  • Minimal to moderate travel (10-20%) to support contract onboarding.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs.
