* Job Summary:

** K  is seeking to hire an Electronics Maintenance Technician III in support of the U.S. Navy /Air Force CYP CCTV Lifecycle Support Service program. A successful candidate must have a solid history of functioning in a team environment, being a self-starter, working independently with limited instruction, and meeting critical demands.
*
* Roles and Responsibilities:

*** Provide preventive and remedial maintenance services on IP-based CCTV systems.
* Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions and failures.
* Perform function tests and analysis on various systems.
* Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on all CCTV system components.
* Provide on-site system training and technical support as needed.
* Update the web-based maintenance management system and provide tracking of government equipment.
* Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** High School diploma or GED.
* Formal electronics training from:
Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include:
Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
* Eight (8) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout.  + Two (2) years of experience, to include: supervision, and shop practices.  + Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation.
* Standard MS Office software product knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
* Position requires ability to obtain a Genetec Omnicast certification
* No clearance. A successful candidate will be subject to a background investigation.
* 70% travel is required; the candidate must be willing to travel throughout the United States and internationally.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Preference to candidate with IP-based CCTV experience.
* Special consideration is given to candidates with OEM factory training from Genetec, Axis, and/or Cisco Switches.

Hours:

** 40 hours. M-F, 7am-3pm or 8am-4pmThis is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
